FAQ

What do you mean by interactive?

It’s an exciting new concept for fine art. You get to physically rearrange the painted elements of the artwork thereby creating never before seen compositions. Upon purchasing the art, you can rearrange it all you want and experience decisions about color, markings, and composition the way an artist does evaluating the energy imparted by various design decisions. I encourage you to document your artistic endeavors through pictures and share them with me and others listing both of us as co-creators.

Do you have a waiting list for new art?

Yes, at the bottom of each page and it is free. I highly recommend that you sign up to be among the first collectors contacted when new art is ready. Click on the Sign Up button below and you will automatically send me an email which will give me your email and has New Art prefilled in the Subject line. I would appreciate you filling in your name so we can get to know each other.

What installation services do you offer?

The artwork can hang from the ceiling or wall by 2, D-rings. It’s easy! For the wall, I suggest that instead of art hooks (the tops will show) simply use 2 screws leaving a quarter inch sticking out from the wall. If you hit wood, great! If you don’t hit wood, use a sheetrock anchor sleeve with the screw. If you are still not comfortable, hiring a professional for this job would probably be very inexpensive. Ceiling installation can be more of a challenge depending on the height and possible angle of the ceiling. A video link and/or written instructions are included. Plus, feel free to call.

What makes you different?

As far as I know, no other artist has created physically interactive wall art that has infinite possibilities. For one artwork, I create many elements that you get to manipulate into a composition by rotating, flipping over to reveal another painted side, rearranging, interweaving. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Your only goal is to change the art, step back and note how you feel. Document your designs so you can compare them and go back to compositions that you particularly like.

How can I contact you?

Call, text, email! I request that you text first because I get so many SPAM calls that I don’t answer the phone. You can leave a message and I will get back to you. For contact info, go to the contact page or email. I aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

Do you collaborate with galleries and museums?

Yes, and I have great ideas for exhibitions allowing visitors to interact physically with art elements in a central space without handling all the artwork on the walls. Plus, I have more ideas for interactivity and community involvement. Let’s talk.

Do you work with the industry?

Yes, I enjoy working with art consultants, art curators, interior designers, and decorators for public spaces, corporations/small businesses, and residential. What do you have in mind?

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Besides my boys, these paintings are my babies, and I want them going places where they are loved. If you don’t fall in love with my art, then send it back (without damage) for a full refund. You have 10 days from receiving it to carefully repack it and ship it back. I don’t have to receive it in 10 days although it must be shipped from your location. The only hitch is that you will need to pay for the shipping back especially since I shipped it to you free of charge within the contiguous United States. With that being said, I hope that you fall in love with my art and enjoy co-creating with me.

What about international shipping?

Yes, but outside the contiguous United States, shipping and customs duties vary widely and change often. I will not mark up the costs but you will be responsible for paying them so contact me with the relevant information and we will work it out. I look forward to hearing from you.

What about taxes?

Necessary sales tax will be applied.

What if I drop a piece and damage it?

The hardboard is pretty tough and has a protective coating on it. However, when dropped on a corner, the hardboard can flare. It can be corrected by compressing it using force. I would not put the paintings in hot, humid conditions which may encourage the pieces to stick together thereby possibly chipping when pulled apart. Luckily, it can be repaired! I’m still alive and well so I can do that for you. Hahaha! Once, I’m not, I’m leaving extensive documentation of how these are created and someone else can repair it. Art restoration is a pretty routine part of the art world. Remember, this art is meant to be used which may result in superficial scratches. That’s preferable to treating it like fine china and crystal that never gets used. Have fun with it! You are creating compositions that have never been seen. Share them through pictures as my co-creator. Remember that I retain the copyright to all my artwork so you are not allowed to reproduce my work for profit.
